ADAM-GH APPLAUDS THE TWO MPs WHO REJECTED NANA ADDO’S MINISTERIAL APPOINTMENT.

The rejection of ministerial appointments by two Members of Parliament has sparked widespread criticism of the Nana Addo administration.

Executive Secretary of Anchoring Democracy Advocacy Movement Ghana (ADAM-GH), Mr Azubila Emmanuel Abdu-Salam, took to Facebook to commend the courageous stand of the MPs who rejected Nana Addo’s ministerial appointments.

Expressing concerns about the direction of the current government, Mr. Abdu-Salam emphasized the importance of maintaining one’s integrity in the face of political upheaval.

He highlighted the disassociation of the Vice President, who also chairs the economic management team and serves as the flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party, from certain governmental decisions, questioning the viability of continued association with the current administration.

Hon. Kwaku Kwarteng and his colleague’s refusal of ministerial appointments are seen as a bold statement against what critics describe as a “miserable regime” of governance.

Furthermore, Mr Abdu-Salam cautioned aspiring politicians against aligning themselves with the Nana Addo government, likening the distribution of ministerial and MMDCE appointments to the casual sharing of street food.

He urged individuals to safeguard their political futures, advising them to avoid entanglement with what he termed a “detrimental” government.
