The government has allocated GHC26 million to institutional suppliers responsible for providing school uniforms, P.E. kits, stationary, and other essentials under the Free Senior High School program.


This announcement was made by the Ministry of Education in a press release dated April 15, following a consensus reached with the ministry after the Association suspended a planned picketing.
According to the ministry, this fund highlights the government’s dedication to promoting quality education and ensuring the seamless operation of educational institutions.
The Ministry reiterates its commitment to facilitating the smooth, timely, and efficient distribution of resources as part of ongoing efforts to enhance and sustain quality education in Ghana.
