Fidelity Bank Ghana LTD has refuted a video circulating on various social media platforms, including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook, posted by an individual under the nickname ‘Frema Shows‘. The bank categorically states that the allegations made in this video are unfounded and without merit.

In a statement released today 18th May 2024, Fidelity Bank described the assertions in the video as entirely false and misguided. The bank urges the public and its valued customers to disregard the video and treat it with the contempt it deserves.

“We categorically state that the assertions made in this video are entirely false, misguided, and without merit. We urge the discerning public and our valued customers to disregard this video and treat it with the contempt it deserves.”

“Fidelity Bank Ghana LTD remains resilient and committed to serving our cherished customers and stakeholders,” the statement read. The bank reassured its clients of its continued dedication to providing exceptional service.

Fidelity Bank has taken immediate steps to address the issue with relevant stakeholders and has called on ‘Frema Shows’ to retract the video and issue an apology. Failure to comply will result in legal action, as the bank has instructed its external counsel to pursue the matter.

“We have taken steps with relevant stakeholders to engage the individual responsible to immediately retract and issue an apology. Should she fail to do so, our external counsel has been instructed to take legal action.”

The bank thanks its customers for their patience and understanding during this time.
