Simon Agbotsu Foundation (SAFFTYD), launched its maiden program in Accra, marking six years of dedicated service to promoting the rights and needs of people with disabilities through sports and love feast outreach programs.
Founded in 2018 by Mr. Felix Agbotsu, SAFFTYD, has tirelessly advocated for disability rights and inclusion, raising awareness and educating the public to foster a more accepting and supportive community. The foundation’s signature events, “Love and Laughter” and “Yes I Can,” have brought together thousands of young people with disabilities, their families, and supporters, creating a sense of community and celebrating life’s triumphs.
Mr. Agbotsu highlighted the foundation’s remarkable achievements, including hosting the first-ever African Para Olympic Games in Ghana and providing relief support during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, he also stressed the challenges faced by people with disabilities, including lack of sponsorship and support.

“This year’s “Love & Laughter, Yes I Can Games” is slated for Saturday 22nd June
2024 at the Accra Sports Stadium with a Para Peace Walk from 9 am to 10 am. The main event will
commence from 7 am to 5 pm.
