Election 2024: NAPO Vows to Help Bawumia Break the 8

The Running Mate for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, widely known as NAPO, has pledged his full support to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming 2024 general elections.

On Thursday, July 4, the NPP’s National Council endorsed Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh as Dr. Bawumia’s running mate. In his acceptance statement, NAPO committed to assisting Dr. Bawumia in effectively communicating his transformative campaign message, aimed at breaking the 8-year political cycle and securing a decisive victory for the NPP.

The Energy Minister acknowledged the significant responsibility that comes with his nomination and vowed to work closely with Dr. Bawumia, leveraging their collective strengths to ensure a resounding victory for the NPP and successful retention of the presidency.

NAPO expressed his gratitude to President Akufo-Addo, the National Council, party executives, and members for their support and confidence in him.

“As I assume the role of running mate alongside my esteemed boss, H.E. Dr. Bawumia, I am committed to supporting him in prosecuting a formidable 2024 campaign to break the 8-year election cycle and serve our beloved country diligently. Let us work together towards a brighter future for Ghana,” he promised.
