Ahmed Refaat, a professional footballer who played for Modern Future FC and the Egyptian national team, has tragically passed away at the age of 31.
Refaat suffered a cardiac arrest and collapsed on the pitch during a match in March, and had been in intensive care since then. Despite efforts to save his life, his condition deteriorated, and he sadly succumbed to his illness on July 6th, 2024.
