The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has suspended Mr. Kpeli Worlase, a member from the Afram Plains North Constituency in the Eastern Region, over allegations of anti-party conduct.
The decision was made by the party’s Functional Executive Committee (FEC) following reports of misconduct, including claims that Mr. Worlase campaigned against the NDC’s parliamentary candidate in the constituency.
In a statement signed by NDC General Secretary Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, the party stated, “You are therefore suspended from the Party with immediate effect.” The case has been referred to the National Disciplinary Committee for further investigation and adjudication.
Mr. Worlase has been advised to attend the upcoming hearing, as the outcome could significantly impact his future within the party.
