The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has embarked on a dynamic health walk in the Dadekotopon Constituency of the Greater Accra region, dubbed “Galvanising the Base for Victory 2024.”
This event aimed to mobilize robust support for the party’s parliamentary candidate, Hon. Rita Naa Adoley Sowah, and flag bearer, John Dramani Mahama, ahead of the crucial 2024 general elections.
According to Mr. Husna, the Constituency’s Communication Director, this health walk was an integral part of the party’s campaign launch in Tamale, designed to unify both the youth and the elderly around the NDC’s compelling vision for a 24-hour economy. The event not only showcased the party’s commitment to progress but also energized the base, creating palpable momentum.
Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, Hon. Rita Naa Adoley Sowah expressed profound gratitude for the impressive turnout and underscored the party’s unwavering commitment to transformative change. She pointed to several alleged destructive actions by the NPP government in the constituency, including:
Demolition of the La General Hospital: A crucial healthcare facility was torn down, leaving residents without essential medical services.
Destruction of Lands: Valuable lands within the constituency have been mismanaged and destroyed, undermining local development and community projects.
Sale of Properties: Key properties, including SSNIT hotels, were sold off, depriving the community of important assets.
Hon. Sowah urged constituents to reject the NPP’s mismanagement in the upcoming elections and vote for John Mahama and herself, promising a brighter, more prosperous future for all.
Research reveals that Hon. Rita Naa Adoley Sowah has been marked to win the election, having a strong advantage over her political opponent on the NPP ticket. Her dedication and clear vision for the constituency resonate deeply with the constituents, positioning her favorably in the upcoming elections.
The Teachers Forum Operations Director, Mr. Harold Ubuntu, and Secretary, Comrade Julius Blay Segbedzi, also participated in the walk. They called on teachers in the constituency to vote massively for Hon. Rita Naa Adoley Sowah and John Dramani Mahama, emphasizing the importance of their support in achieving a decisive victory.
This health walk was not merely an event but a powerful demonstration of the NDC’s strength and unity in the Dadekotopon Constituency. The party’s message of a 24-hour economy and job creation struck a deep chord with the youth, who formed a significant portion of the attendees, eager for change and progress.
As the 2024 elections draw nearer, the NDC’s campaign is gaining remarkable traction. The party is strategically capitalizing on the perceived failures of the incumbent NPP government, making a compelling case for change. The outcome of the elections will ultimately reflect the constituents’ desire for progress, but it is unequivocally clear that the NDC is relentlessly pursuing victory, leaving no stone unturned in its quest to restore hope and prosperity to the people of Dadekotopon.
The choice is stark, and the stakes are high. The NDC’s vision for a vibrant, inclusive, and prosperous future stands in sharp contrast to the status quo, offering a beacon of hope for all who yearn for genuine change.
