The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced that its running mate, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, will embark on a campaign tour of the Central Region, starting today, July 30, 2024.
According to the party, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang’s campaign will begin with a courtesy call on the Central Regional House of Chiefs, where she will pay her respects and seek their blessings.
She will then proceed to visit various constituencies in the region, where she will interact with traditional rulers, the clergy, market women, and other stakeholders. The tour is expected to last until Friday, August 2, 2024.
The campaign is aimed at engaging with the people of the Central Region and promoting the NDC party’s commitment to the region’s welfare and development.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang’s visit is seen as a strategic move by the NDC to strengthen its support base in the region, ahead of the upcoming elections.
