President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed new governing boards for four state-owned media organizations in Ghana.
The appointments, made in consultation with the National Media Commission, affect the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), New Times Corporation, Ghana News Agency (GNA), and the Graphic Communications Group Limited.
These appointments were made in accordance with Article 168 of the Constitution and Section 2(1)(e) of the National Media Commission Act, 1993 (Act 449). The move aims to strengthen leadership and oversight in these crucial public media institutions.
