The Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has announced plans to introduce an annual National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving.
This initiative aims to bring together all faiths in a unified expression of gratitude and to seek divine guidance for the nation of Ghana.
In a statement released by the Campaign Spokesperson, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, Mr. Mahama highlighted the significance of thanksgiving, drawing on biblical teachings and examples from other nations.
He expressed his belief that this collective act of prayer and gratitude would attract God’s blessings and prosperity for the country.
Mr. Mahama emphasized the need to recognize and appreciate God’s past interventions as a way to secure continued favor and success in the future.
