1. Sellouts African heads of state.
2. Confuser African heads of state.
3. The unbothered African heads of state.
4. Non-Existent African heads of state.
5. Non-African Arab African heads of state.
6. Nationalist African heads of state.
7. Pan-African African heads of state.
Here’s a brief summary of each type:
1. Sellout African heads of state: Those who prioritize personal gain and foreign interests over their country’s well-being. They work for imperialism and are happy to own mansions in European countries other than the countries they claim to govern. The current heads of Ivory Coast, Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria, Zambia and others clearly belong here.
2. Confuser African heads of state: Those who lack clear vision, direction, and decision-making skills, causing confusion and instability. They sometimes are pretenders who throw Pan-African slogans around yet are willing to sell their fellow heads of state to imperialist interests. The current Ghanaian and Ugandan heads of state are also in this category.
3. The Unbothered African heads of state: Those who appear indifferent to the problems and needs of their people. These do not care about the people but their families and those who help to keep them in power. A lot of African heads are in this category for example the current one in Cameroon.
4. Non-Existent African heads of state: Those who are absent or ineffective, failing to address critical issues. There are heads of state the majority of people have never heard of in Africa e.g president of Carbo Verde, Seychelles, Central African Republic, Mozambique, Madagascar, Benin, Togo etc
5. Non-African Arab African Leaders: Those of Arab descent who prioritize Arab interests over African identity and needs. These have a problem working with Africa, most North African states belong to this category.
6. Nationalist African Leaders: Those who focus on their country’s interests, sometimes at the expense of regional or continental cooperation. Many on the continent belong here and that is why the African Union is a joke which accomplishes nothing tangible.
7. Pan-African African Leaders: Those who prioritize unity, cooperation, and collective progress among African nations and peoples. This is the rarest group and is difficult to find. These hold the key to the future of the African continent as well as the possession of the ideals of Our African forefathers and foremothers.
Please note that these categories might not be mutually exclusive, and leaders may exhibit traits from multiple categories.
