Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, the National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has urged Ghanaians to reject Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming 2024 elections, citing their failure to deliver on promises made in their 2020 manifesto.
Speaking at Mamfe in the Akuapem North Constituency during the first day of his regional tour, Asiedu Nketiah labeled Dr. Bawumia, the NPP’s flagbearer, as a “serial liar” who has nothing new to offer the country. He criticized the government’s performance, accusing it of mismanaging the nation’s resources.
“Bawumia promised to give vehicles to motor riders in place of motorcycles; ask him if he delivered. Where are the vehicles? He couldn’t deliver on the 2020 manifesto promises. Reject Bawumia and the NPP outright during the 2024 general elections. He will not deliver on his promises,” Asiedu Nketiah asserted.
