John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), is set to file his nomination papers for the 2024 presidential elections on Monday, September 9, 2024.
Joyce Bawah Mogtari, the spokesperson for the Mahama campaign, confirmed the details, underscoring the event’s importance and the campaign’s focus on building an inclusive and economically robust Ghana.
“This is a momentous occasion for the NDC as we gear up to build the Ghana we want together. Our campaign focuses on Jobs, Accountability, Development, and a better future for all Ghanaians,”Mogtari said.
In the lead-up to the filing, Mahama will kick off a four-day tour of the Bono Region on Sunday. The #Mahama4Change2024 tour will cover all 12 constituencies, featuring courtesy visits to traditional councils, community engagements, meetings with religious leaders, and discussions with the Bono Regional House of Chiefs.
As part of his tour, Mahama will also host a youth forum at Sunyani Technical University, where he will outline his plans to revitalize the economy and generate job opportunities through forward-thinking policies designed to stimulate growth.
