The Greater Accra Regional Communications team of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has officially endorsed Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia ahead of his nomination filing for the 2024 presidential election.
In a statement released on Sunday, Regional Communications Director Sabo Adams praised Dr. Bawumia’s leadership, integrity, and achievements as Vice President of Ghana.
“The Greater Regional Communications team of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) conveys its heartiest congratulations to our quintessential Presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as he files his nominations tomorrow, Monday, September 9, 2024”.
“Our Presidential Candidate, undoubtedly, has proven to be an effective leader with unblemished character and integrity, and as communicators within the region, we seize this momentous opportunity to invite all and sundry to join and support this worthy cause”.
The team highlighted Bawumia’s track record and patriotism, positioning him as the ideal candidate for the upcoming general elections.
“We are fortified by the uncontestable track record of Dr. Bawumia. His achievements as Vice President of the Republic of Ghana is glaring to all. Again, his sense of patriotism, hardwork and dedication puts him above his contenders. He is that great leader Ghana needs going into the 2024 general elections”.
The endorsement also extended to Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Bawumia’s running mate, as they prepare to launch their “POSSIBILITIES” campaign.
“We therefore wish to reaffirm our unflinching support to our Flag Bearer Dr. Bawumia and his workaholic Vice Presidential Candidate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, and wish them Godspeed as they officially embark on the POSSIBILITIES journey tomorrow”.
The communications team called on supporters to rally behind the Bawumia-Prempeh ticket, emphasizing their potential to lead Ghana forward.
