The Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Tema West Constituency, Peter Cudjo, has firmly stated that the party will not be intimidated by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as the 2024 elections approach.
Speaking at the launch of the NDC’s community youth engagement on the 24-hour economy policy, held at Adjei-Kojo in the Tema West Constituency on Sunday, Cudjo warned the NPP against attempts to undermine their campaign efforts. He specifically condemned the alleged demolition of NDC billboards and the removal of their posters.
“This is our time. We are not going to sit down for these same people to intimidate us. This is a caution to them. We have heard, we have seen that they are going around demolishing our signboards, and our posters are being torn,” Cudjo declared.
He also issued a stern warning that any further attempts to disrupt their campaign would be met with strong resistance.
“Let me send this caution to them: if they try it again, if they try it again, fellow comrades, we are not going to sleep until we see lawyer James Enu elected as our MP in Tema West,” he asserted.
