Nick Gonyuie, a New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary hopeful for Ho West, has pledged to bring significant development to the constituency if elected.
During the submission of his nomination form, Gonyuie outlined six key initiatives aimed at driving growth in the area, expressing concern over the lack of progress during the 32-year tenure of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Gonyuie urged voters to embrace a new perspective, stating that the NPP offers a fresh approach to achieving meaningful development in Ho West.
Key among his promises is the transformation of Ho West into a trade and commerce hub, leveraging the constituency’s potential to boost economic activity. Gonyuie also plans to invest in the tourism sector, attracting investors to stimulate growth across various industries.
He emphasized the modernization of agriculture, a major sector in the region, with a focus on making farming more attractive to the youth as a viable employment option. Additionally, Gonyuie vowed to address the poor condition of the constituency’s road networks and prioritize industrialization efforts to create job opportunities.
Gonyuie called on voters to support his candidacy, assuring them that he would deliver tangible improvements and effectively represent their interests in parliament.
