First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo has reaffirmed the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government’s commitment to promoting education for all Ghanaian students at every level.
Speaking at the commissioning of the Independence Avenue Cluster of Schools in Accra, Mrs. Akufo-Addo emphasized that education has been a top priority for the government, which is reflected in the significant rise in school enrolment figures.
She noted that the government’s efforts have laid a strong foundation for the accelerated growth of the country, with education playing a central role in that development.
“The NPP government has made the promotion of education for all Ghanaian children at all levels a priority. This has led to increased access at school and learning figures in most public schools.
“Education is perhaps the most critical component to our development as a nation.
“It ensures we have the human resources to engage in all aspects of our national development. As we ensure that all Ghanaian children receive quality education, we are laying a solid foundation for the accelerated growth of Ghana.”
