Nana Kwame Bediako, founder and flag bearer of the New Force political party, has disclosed that the Eastern Region of Ghana holds vast untapped wealth of over $192 billion worth of minerals and resources, including arable lands for farming activities, in the Eastern Region.
He made this assertion during his day 5 and 6 of Bediako’s ambitious 276 constituency tour, as he visited Nkawkaw to promote his “12 pillars of economic freedom.” During a courtesy call at the Esono Gyimah Manpong palace, Bediako outlined his visionary policies to local chiefs and residents.
Emphasizing the importance of maintaining Ghana’s peaceful nature, Bediako stated, “We are peaceful, we were born peaceful, and we will die peaceful.”
He further urged citizens to avoid demonstrations or any form of unrest that might disrupt the country’s tranquility as elections approach.
He added that, the “16th industrial revolution” is his top priority, expressing a keen interest in shifting Ghana’s focus from importation to exportation and food processing.
“We plan on building a harbor at the borders of Burkina Faso, which would encourage them to shift from using Ivorian ports,” he explained
The Independent candidate disclosed that water connections are his second policy priority, elaborating on plans to dredge and connect water bodies for improved logistics, transportation, and leisure activities, all aimed at ensuring economic stability.
