The second edition of the SHE TRIUMPH Conference, held on September 28 at the prestigious Adae Kese Hall of La-Palm Royal Beach Hotel, was an extraordinary celebration of resilience and determination among today’s women.
Building on the success of its inaugural event, this year’s conference brought together inspiring speakers, dedicated participants, and a community united in the mission to empower women.
Hosted by the esteemed Mrs. Deborah Borketey-Tackie, affectionately known as DebbyQueen, the conference featured a remarkable lineup of speakers who shared their invaluable insights under the theme: “The Resilience and Determination of Womanhood.” Attendees were treated to empowering sessions that celebrated the achievements of women and fostered discussions on overcoming challenges.
A highlight of the conference was the Creative Woman Hub initiative, which was launched last year to equip women with essential skills. We are thrilled to announce that our graduates have excelled in their respective fields, thanks to the unwavering support of our dedicated sponsors.
In a competitive business pitch, (Akorfa Lawson) emerged as the winner, receiving a seed fund of GH₵10,000 to kick-start her business. The first runner-up was awarded GH₵5,000, along with vital equipment from the Omanye Royal Executives to aid her business setup, while the second runner-up received essential materials to support her entrepreneurial journey.
The conference also witnessed the unveiling of the Triumph Women Awards which seeks to honor women who are making impact in society and helping shape and transform lives in various sectors in the country.
As part of the initiative, 10 outstanding women received the Noble Award in different categories.
The organizers of this award will roll out a road map for nomination in 2025 during the third edition of the SHE TRIUMPH CONFERENCE.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our sponsors, including HM Life Mixture, and our cherished brands such as Frytol & Alife Soap, Bel Aqua & Bel Beverages, La-Palm Royal Beach Hotel, and many more.
