The Works and Housing Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has retained the Ofoase/Ayirebi parliamentary seat for the third time.
Mr Nkrumah, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) member who has represented the constituency since 2016 and previously served as Information Minister, got 18,601 votes.
His closest challenger, Alfred Osei-Poku of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), garnered 13,415 votes.
While Nkrumah secured his position, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has made notable strides in other constituencies in the Ashanti region.
