“We trust and pray that God will give you all that you need to serve all the 34 million people of this country equitably and to the best of your ability,” Dr. Kpikpi said, emphasizing the importance of fair and just governance for every citizen.
Dr. Kpikpi also called on Mahama and his incoming administration to remain open to new ideas and suggestions for nation-building. He encouraged Mahama’s government to engage in broad national consultations, listening to the many ideas and plans developed by Ghanaians both at home and abroad. He emphasized that the country needs to go beyond party lines to foster solutions that address the nation’s challenges.
“We recommend a broad national consultation beyond the reaches of your party,” Dr. Kpikpi urged, stressing the importance of collaboration for the national good.
The Progressive Alliance of Ghana leader also expressed his hopes that, with God’s guidance, Mahama’s leadership will elevate the nation from its current state and lead it toward a future where Ghanaians will live with integrity, happiness, and prosperity.
“We wish you the very best in your stewardship over the next four years and that you will be able with God’s help, to lift up our nation from its current abyss to a better place,” he stated, concluding with blessings for both Mahama’s administration and the nation as a whole.
Dr. Kpikpi’s message adds to the growing calls for unity, collaboration, and peace as Ghana prepares for a new chapter under the leadership of President-elect John Dramani Mahama.
