Africa Prosperity Dialogues (APD) 2025 is set to be a significant milestone in the continent’s journey toward achieving full economic integration. Scheduled to take place from January 30 to February 1, 2025, at the Accra International Conference Centre in Ghana, the event is themed “Delivering Africa’s Single Market through Infrastructure: Invest. Connect. Integrate.”

The Africa Prosperity Dialogues is an annual platform bringing together political and business leaders from across Africa to discuss and accelerate the vision of establishing the world’s largest single market by the number of member states.
This prestigious event is organized by the Africa Prosperity Network in partnership with the African Continental Free Trade Secretariat and under the auspices of the Office of the President of Ghana.
This year’s conference is expected to attract nearly 3,000 participants, including African heads of state, prominent business executives, industry leaders, ministers of state, policymakers, development partners, and thought leaders.
The central focus will be on leveraging infrastructure to build a unified African market of over 1.4 billion consumers. Discussions will also delve into innovative ways to foster integrated economic growth and shared prosperity across the continent.
The three-day event has a carefully structured program designed to address the critical enablers of Africa’s single market. Topics such as infrastructure funding, transport and logistics, sustainable energy solutions, digital connectivity, healthcare systems, STEM education, and urban development will feature prominently.
The first day of the event, January 30, will commence with the official opening of the Projet Afrique Exhibition and other side events, followed by the APD 2025 opening ceremony. Attendees will include international dignitaries and experts who will lead discussions on key topics such as transport and logistics for free movement across Africa.
The day will conclude with a Welcome Reception hosted at Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra, providing an opportunity for participants to network in an informal setting.
The second day, January 31, will explore a range of issues pivotal to Africa’s development, including sustainable energy, digital infrastructure, enhancing manufacturing capacity, improving healthcare systems, and promoting STEM education. These discussions will provide a platform for participants to engage openly, with contributions forming the foundation for an outcome document that will include actionable recommendations to advance the summit’s goals.
The final day, February 1, will feature a high-level dialogue involving African heads of state and leading business executives. The day will include a Presidential Roundtable where policy frameworks to encourage private sector participation in Africa’s single market will be discussed.
Two significant fireside conversations will take place on the same day, one centered on the US$50 billion investment fund established by the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) and the other featuring insights from one of Africa’s most celebrated industrialists.
The conference will culminate with the Africa Prosperity Champions Awards and the Presidential Gala Dinner at Kempinski Hotel, Accra. This black-tie event will recognize and celebrate individuals and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to Africa’s economic integration and prosperity. The awards will inspire further efforts toward achieving the goals of Africa’s Agenda 2063, a strategic framework aimed at building a prosperous and integrated continent.
Participants and stakeholders are encouraged to register early and secure their spots at this landmark event.
