Mrs. Joyce Bawah Mogtari Appointed as Presidential Adviser and Special Aide to the President. Mrs. Mogtari, a seasoned lawyer and politician, previously served as Deputy Minister of Transport and was the spokesperson for President Mahama’s 2016 election campaign.
Stanislav Xoese Dogbe: Named Deputy Chief of Staff (Operations). Mr. Dogbe has been a prominent figure in Ghana’s media and communications landscape, previously serving in various capacities within the government.
Nana Oye Bampoe Addo: Appointed Deputy Chief of Staff (Administration). She is a renowned human rights lawyer and former Minister for Gender, Children, and Social Protection, known for her advocacy on social justice issues.
Seth Emmanuel Terkper: Designated as Presidential Adviser on the Economy. Mr. Terkper brings a wealth of experience, having previously served as Ghana’s Minister for Finance and Economic Planning, where he played a pivotal role in economic policy formulation.
Professor Francis Dodoo Appointed as Presidential Adviser for the National Anti-Corruption Programme. An accomplished academic and statistician, Professor Dodoo has contributed significantly to research and policy development in Ghana.
Larry Gbevlo-Lartey: Named Special Envoy to the Alliance of Sahelian States. With a background in security and intelligence, Mr. Gbevlo-Lartey previously served as National Security Coordinator, bringing valuable experience to this diplomatic role.
Nana Yaa Jantuah and Beatrice Annangfio: Both appointed as Presidential Staffers. Ms. Jantuah is known for her work in consumer advocacy, particularly during her tenure at the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC).
Shamima Muslim Appointed as Deputy Presidential Spokesperson. A respected journalist and media practitioner, Ms. Muslim has been influential in media circles, advocating for women’s rights and youth development.
Professor Kwaku Danso-Boafo: Designated as Cabinet Secretary. With an extensive background in public administration and academia, Professor Danso-Boafo has previously served as Ghana’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom.
In a statement issued by Acting Presidential Spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu, President Mahama expressed confidence in the appointees’ abilities to contribute meaningfully to national progress.
