The MP for Bosome Freho has advised the Minister for Tourism to explore the tourism potential in his constituency.
Speaking on the floor of parliamentary Hon. Asafo-Adjei said, ” Mr. Speaker, I want to draw her attention to some major tourist sites, Abrewa Waterfalls, Baakoteng Waterfalls, Awamu Waterfalls, Bobiem Waterfalls, Tebri Waterfalls, Subriso Waterfalls falls to mention a few” All these are in the Bosome Freho Constituency.
Mr. Speaker, the minister for tourism, must team up with the local assemblies to develop our tourist sites.
I believe tourism holds great potential in creating jobs for Ghanaians irrespective of their educational backgrounds.
I also urge the minister to take a critical look at upgrading the infrastructure of existing tourist sites in order for them to attract both local and international tourists.
In his concluding remarks, he urged the minister and the NDC administration not to abandon the fourteen (14) landing sites stated by the NPP government.
