The Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church Ghana, Rev. Prof. Johnson Asamoah-Gyadu, has paid a heartfelt visit to the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev. Stephen Wengam, to offer his condolences following the passing of his mother, Madam Deborah Wengam.
During his visit, Rev. Prof. Asamoah-Gyadu expressed his sympathy to the grieving family and shared words of comfort, emphasizing the impactful legacy Madam Wengam left behind.
The funeral service for Madam Deborah Wengam will take place on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the Forecourt of the State House in Accra.
The occasion is expected to draw friends, family, and members of the clergy from across the country to celebrate the late Madam Wengam’s life.
Since his mother’s passing, Rev. Stephen Wengam has received an outpouring of support from various leaders and organizations, a testament to the wide respect and admiration he commands within the Christian community and beyond.
