The Former Deputy Executive Director of the National Service Authority, Ms Gifty Oware-Mensah, is set to present herself to the National Investigation Bureau (NIB) upon her return to Ghana on Tuesday afternoon.

However, sources within the NIB indicate that she will be arrested upon arrival at Kotoka International Airport and taken into custody for questioning.
At the same time, key figures within the New Patriotic Party (NPP), under whose administration she served, are reportedly mobilizing to accompany her to the NIB offices.
The investigation centers on allegations that thousands of ghost names were used to siphon millions of cedis in allowances from the NSS.
As the former Deputy Executive Director in charge of Administration and Finance, Oware-Mensah is expected to be a key witness in the ongoing probe.
The alleged payroll fraud is reported to have cost the state a staggering GHȼ50 million each month.
It is unclear how long the alleged scheme ran.
Over the weekend, the government announced an extradition process to bring key suspects in alleged malfeasance back to Ghana, following reports that some individuals wanted to assist in investigations had fled the country to evade justice.
The NIB recently arrested, detained and questioned Kwaku Ohene Djan, also a former Deputy Executive Director of the National Service Authority over the raging allegations.
