 
                The Minority Caucus in Parliament has appointed Hon. John Darko, Suame MP, as its Legal Counsel, entrusting him with the responsibility of representing the group on legal and constitutional matters.

A letter signed by the leader of the Minority Caucus, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, formally announced the appointment, highlighting Darko’s expertise and experience as key factors in the decision.
“Your experience and expertise make you an ideal representative to communicate our legal position on constitutional and legal matters to the public and stakeholders,” the letter stated.
As Legal Counsel, Darko is expected to provide legal advice, represent the Caucus on constitutional issues, and participate in public engagements such as press conferences and interviews.
He has also been urged to uphold professionalism and confidentiality when performing his duties.
