
President John Dramani Mahama has appointed new heads for three key security agencies as part of efforts to strengthen Ghana’s security services.

DDGP 3 Patience Baffoe-Bonnie has been named Director-General of the Ghana Prisons Service, DCFO Daniella Mawusi Ntow Sarpong takes over as Chief Fire Officer, and DCI Samuel Basentale Amadu has been appointed Comptroller-General of the Ghana Immigration Service.
The appointments, announced on Friday, March 14, follow the swearing-in of COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno as the new Inspector General of Police, replacing Dr. George Akuffo Dampare.
A statement from the Presidency described the changes as part of broader reforms to enhance security and service delivery in the country.
