
President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Sierra Leone for an official visit aimed at boosting trade, infrastructure, and regional cooperation between the two nations.

The Special Aide of the President, Joyce Bawah Mogtari confirmed the visit in a Facebook post on March 18, 2025, stating that discussions with Sierra Leonean President Julius Maada Bio will focus on economic partnerships and social development.
Ghana and Sierra Leone share strong diplomatic ties, with President Bio attending Mahama’s inauguration in January.
The visit is expected to further deepen collaboration for economic growth and regional stability.
