The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has announced the recall of Grand Chateaux Sangria Forte (250ml Tetra Pak & 330ml Canned Pétillante) from the Ghanaian market, citing regulatory violations and public health risks.

According to the FDA, the product is unregistered and illegally imported, violating Sections 97, 98, and 103 of the Public Health Act, 2012 (Act 851). Additionally, its packaging has been deemed misleading, posing a risk of accidental alcohol ingestion by children.
The FDA has directed consumers to avoid the product, while retailers and wholesalers must cease sales and return all stocks to designated outlets. The importer has also been sanctioned, with regulatory measures in force.
The FDA urges the public to report any sightings of the product via its official communication channels.
