
The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Christian Tetteh Yohuno, has reconstituted the Police Management Board as part of efforts to enhance operational efficiency within the Ghana Police Service.

In a statement issued on March 19, 2025, the police administration announced the appointment and reassignment of several senior officers across various departments, including the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), Operations, Welfare, Finance, and Regional Commands.
Notable appointments include:
- COP Maame Yaa Tiwa Addo-Danquah – Director-General, Research & Planning
- COP Paul Manly Awini – Service Workshop, Accra
- DCOP Lydia Yaako Donkor – Director-General, CID
- DCOP Vance Gariba – Director-General, Operations
- DCOP Dr. David Agyeman Adjem – Director-General, Administration
- ACP Grace Ansah-Akrofi – Director, Public Affairs
The reshuffle also affects regional commands, with new commanders appointed for Ashanti, Western North, Central, Bono, Volta, and Northern Regions.
The IGP extended his best wishes to all newly assigned officers, urging them to work diligently to uphold law and order.
