Two suspects have been arrested for allegedly stealing goods from shops gutted by fire in Kumasi’s central business district of Adum on Friday, March 21.
The fire, which broke out around 6 a.m. at the Blue Light arena near Hello FM, quickly spread through the two-storey buildings housing multiple shops, causing extensive damage.
As firefighters worked to contain the blaze, some individuals attempted to loot valuables from the affected stores.
Security officers, including police and fire personnel, were deployed to restore order and prevent further incidents.
Authorities remain on high alert as investigations continue.
