A massive fire has engulfed the topmost part of a four-story commercial building at Adum PZ in Kumasi, prompting an urgent response from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS).

The GNFS received a distress call about the fire at approximately 6:05 AM. In response, four fire engines from the Regional Headquarters, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ejisu, and Twedie were swiftly deployed to the scene.

A turntable ladder was also dispatched to aid in the firefighting efforts.

Firefighters are currently working tirelessly to bring the inferno under control and prevent it from spreading to other parts of the building and nearby structures. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.

The Regional Fire Commander, along with his Deputy, Operations officers, and other District Commanders, are at the scene overseeing the emergency response and coordinating firefighting efforts.
