La Land Laundery & Loot: Destination for Corruption and Galamsey Money

The current situation is different; the new government is steadily reclaiming the wealth of Ghana that has been looted and tracing these monies through banks and properties bought with these monies.

The former Governors of the Bank of Ghana, together with known Galamseyers like Kate Gyamfuah and others, sold prime La Lands, specifically at the Cantonments Civil Aviation, which was fraudulently taken over by Kweku Asoma-Cheremeh and Samuel Abu Jinapor.

The Attorney-General has begun arrests, investigations, and prosecutions of persons who have plundered the public purse and Looted State Lands.

The former head of the Signals Bureau, Mr. Adu Boahen, and his wife were arrested for siphoning government money lodged with the National Bureau of Communications into a private company they registered using a similar name.

The siphoned money was used to buy land and landed property in the Prime areas of La and abroad.

The Attorney-General, in his diligent investigation conducted by its agencies, including the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) and the Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) had secured all receipts and transaction documents in respect of the Adu Boahen arrest.

The Cantonments, Labone, Airport and other prime La Lands have been taken over by Criminals, Galamseyers and other Corrupt officials who are busily hiding the proceeds of Galamsey and Corruption in apartments, condominiums and other buildings…

Investigation into the ownership of these properties will unmask the real Galamseyers and Corrupt officials milking Ghana.

Reports that empty money boxes were found at the home of the Bank of Ghana Governor and another by the Minority Leader that only ten thousand cedis was found and stolen at his residence makes a thorough investigation of Dr. Addison a matter of great public interest especially when the ORAL REPORT captures him and his deputies together with known Galamseyers and others as being beneficiaries of the fraudulent allocation of State Lands at ridiculous prices.

The tracing of this laundered money through the prime La Lands can easily be done if all payments in relation to La Land Transactions are made mandatory through the La Bank, which becomes the designated bank for all La Land Transactions to ensure a reliable paper trail or electronic footprint of all Land Transactions.

The DVLA has a similar arrangement, which makes it mandatory to make payments to a bank prior to any official paperwork or delivery of any service.

Ghanaians want every pesewa recovered and every plot of looted State Land and Bungalow retrieved.

Ghanaians are excited about the Attorney-General’s promise to hold regular media briefings to update Ghanaians on the various cases he has secured evidence on and is confident of securing convictions in court.

This RESETTING of the Attorney-General’s Department and the positive posture of carrying Ghanaians along is a refreshing departure from the culture of crudely targeting political opponents using the Attorney-General as a hatchetman.

The establishment of the Fast Track PUBLIC TRIBUNALS and Special Courts will expedite the recovery of the Loot, especially as the Attorney-General has indicated his willingness to accept plea bargains, including the voluntary return of looted money and property for reduced sentences.

NOBODY IS ABOVE THE LAW.

All persons, including the former President, former Vice President, former Finance Ministers, former Governors, and indeed any former government appointees, their family members, friends, and business associates, as well as Galamseyers, their accomplices, enablers, and financiers who will be arrested and prosecuted will be treated equally.

Current government officials, according to President John Dramani Mahama and the Attorney-General, will not be exempt from arrest and prosecution if found culpable.

Together let’s hold everybody to account and resist any attempts to shield anybody, especially as the Attorney-General in his media briefing stated that a Member of Parliament was paid to deflect anything involving the National Service Ghost Names Scandal masterminds.

TOGETHER, LET’S RESET GHANA AND RECOVER ALL THE LOOT.

La Lands will all soon be registered by the La Stool Lands Secretariat as required by ACT 1036 and the seal of the soon-to-be-enstooled new La Mantse will become the final authenticating sign of all La Land Transactions.

All La Lands will be undergoing a RESET when the new La Mantse is entered and the La Stool Lands Secretariat is established as the owners of leases will be required to present their documentation for authentication, perfection of title, atonement of tenancy, arbitration, and Digitization of all documents.

The State Lands whose purpose of acquisition have changed or leases expired can be renegotiated and re-acquied by the State with a new policy of EQUITY IN LIEU OF COMPENSATION.

Article 20 (5)(6) must be reviewed by the Constitution Review Committee to comprehensively RESET LA LANDS and sanitize the State’s Acquisition of Land everywhere.

Ghanaians especially the La People anxiously await the establishment of the Presidential Commission of Enquiry into the Looted Stolen State Lands, Bungalows and Expropriation of GaDangme Lands promised by President John Dramani Mahama.
