The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that Form 2 students in Senior High and Senior High Technical Schools operating under the Transitional Track system will be granted an Easter break.

In a statement released to all Regional Directors of Education, GES indicated that the break will begin on Thursday, 17th April, and end on Monday, 21st April, 2025.
“Students who wish to travel home and celebrate the Easter festivities with their families should be given the opportunity to do so.”
GES made it clear that the break is optional, and students who prefer to stay on campus during the period will be allowed to remain under proper supervision.
“All students who will travel home are expected to return to school on Tuesday, 22nd April 2025, to resume academic activities promptly.”
This directive aims to accommodate students’ desire to spend the Easter holidays with their families while ensuring that academic activities continue smoothly upon their return.
