The Ministry of Roads and Highways, through the Ghana Highway Authority, has initiated the installation of crash barriers at key locations to improve road safety.

The targeted areas include the Koforidua-Mamfe-Aburi Highway, Brimso Bridge, and two sections near the Achimota Forest at the Dimples Roundabout.

These efforts follow the successful completion of similar installations on the Aburi–Nsawam stretch, which have significantly enhanced safety and reduced accidents along that corridor.

The project has been assigned to Messrs Hacianda Enterprise Ltd, with work already underway.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution when navigating these active construction zones.

The GHA appreciates public cooperation as efforts continue to enhance road safety nationwide.
