Hon. Bismark Tetteh Nyarko, Member of Parliament for Upper Manya Krobo Constituency, has announced his intention to sponsor science practical lessons for 1,153 final-year Junior High School (JHS) students preparing for the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
The initiative aims to enhance students’ practical understanding of scientific concepts, a critical component of the BECE. The practical sessions are scheduled as follows:
- April 29, 2025: Church of Pentecost, Sekesua
- April 30, 2025: Christ Apostolic Chapel, Asesewa
Hon. Nyarko is covering the cost of GH¢40 per student to ensure that financial constraints do not hinder participation.
“Science practicals are essential for students to grasp the practical applications of scientific theories,” he stated.
“By sponsoring these lessons, we are investing in the future of our students and empowering them to excel in their examinations.”
The initiative has been warmly received by parents, teachers, and students, who have expressed gratitude for the MP’s commitment to education.
