The Ministry of the Interior has officially announced that Friday, April 18, 2025 (Good Friday), and Monday, April 21, 2025 (Easter Monday), are statutory public holidays to be observed nationwide.​

In a statement issued on April 14, 2025, the Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed Mubarak, emphasized the importance of these holidays, urging all citizens to observe them accordingly.​

These holidays are part of Ghana’s annual calendar of statutory public holidays, which includes Good Friday and Easter Monday as significant dates for national observance.​

The Ministry encourages all citizens to use this period for rest, reflection, and celebration in line with the traditions associated with the Easter season.
