Thirty-nine percent (39%) of voters believe the New Force, led by Nana Kwame Bediako, has the strongest potential of becoming Ghana’s third political force, according to a new poll released by Global InfoAnalytics.

The nationwide survey placed the New Force ahead of other emerging political groups, with the Movement for Change, led by Alan Kyerematen, coming in second at 31%, and 30% of respondents choosing other groups.

The breakdown of the data shows that the New Force enjoys the most support from NDC voters, with 40% tipping it as the best third-force alternative, followed closely by 38% for the Movement for Change.

However, 38% of NPP supporters favor the Movement for Change, while 30% back the New Force and 32% support other groups.

Among floating voters, 47% see Alan Kyerematen’s Movement for Change as the most viable alternative, compared to 23% for the New Force and 30% for other options.

Despite the growing attention on these new political groups, the poll also reveals that a majority of the electorate still prefers the traditional two-party system. Overall, 52% of voters oppose the idea of a third force in Ghana’s politics, 31% support it, and 17% remain undecided.
