
Dr. Eric Oduro Osae has officially stepped down from his position as Director-General of the Internal Audit Agency (IAA), effective Thursday, April 17, 2025.

In a statement issued, Dr. Osae expressed his heartfelt appreciation to all stakeholders who supported him during his tenure.
“I want to use this opportunity to thank all of you for the support, advice, and the opportunity to be of service to God and country,” he said.
Dr. Osae, a respected governance expert and chartered accountant, has been a key figure in Ghana’s internal audit systems, known for his dedication to institutional reform and capacity building.
While the announcement did not indicate his next steps, his sign-off message was one of humility and gratitude: “God bless you in all ways.”
