Bawumia begins nationwide thank you tour on April 26

The 2024 Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, together with the Party’s leadership, is set to begin a nationwide Thank You tour on Saturday, April 26, 2025, as a gesture of gratitude to party members and Ghanaians for their support during the 2024 electoral season.

The tour, fully endorsed by the NPP National Council, is themed “In All Things, Give Thanks to God” (1 Thessalonians 5:18), a scriptural reflection of the party’s faith-driven values and appreciation for divine guidance throughout its political journey.

The tour begins in the Western Region and will end in the Central Region on June 4, 2025. Each stop will feature regional and constituency-level gatherings, offering party members the opportunity to connect directly with leadership and celebrate their shared accomplishments.

The Ashanti Region, a traditional stronghold of the party, will host a special three-day programme from April 29 to May 1 due to its strategic significance.

According to the party, this outreach is not only to thank supporters but also to strengthen the bond between the grassroots and national leadership as the NPP looks ahead.

It will culminate in national interfaith Thanksgiving services, bringing together both Christian and Islamic communities to mark the journey with prayer and reflection.

The NPP leadership is encouraging all members and sympathisers to actively participate in the tour in their respective regions, emphasizing that unity and gratitude will remain essential pillars in the party’s next chapter.
