Celebrated Ghanaian actress and filmmaker Kalsoume Sinare Baffoe has been appointed as Ghana’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain by President John Dramani Mahama.
Her appointment is part of a broader list of ambassadorial nominations announced in a letter dated June 10, 2025, from the Office of the President and signed by Callistus Mahama, Ph.D., Secretary to the President.
The nominations follow due consultations with the Council of State.
Kalsoume Sinare, known for her decades-long contribution to Ghana’s film and creative industry, now joins a diverse group of newly nominated ambassadors who will represent Ghana across key global capitals.
