Ghanaian gospel singer Sarah Sarkodie has released her latest single, “Abrewa Sarah”, a motivational piece inspired by the biblical matriarch Sarah, wife of Abraham. The song carries a message of hope, faith, and divine timing.

Sarah Sarkodie, described by many as a spirit-filled songstress whose voice serves both as “a weapon of warfare and a balm of healing,” says the new single is a testimony to her belief that delay is not denial.

“Abrewa Sarah reminds believers that no matter how long it takes, God’s timing is perfect. It is a song of hope against all odds,” she said in a statement.

Born and raised in a devout Christian home in Ghana, Sarah grew up surrounded by faith and music. Her journey in worship began at the age of seven, when she first discovered her gift of singing during family and church gatherings. Over the years, that gift matured into a ministry that now inspires thousands.

At age 16, a prophetic word from spiritual leaders marked a turning point in her calling. They declared her a vessel chosen to minister healing and inspiration through song — a declaration she has since embraced with passion and devotion.

With “Abrewa Sarah”, Sarah Sarkodie continues her mission of using music to uplift, heal, and encourage. The single, now available on streaming platforms, adds to her growing catalogue of gospel songs that are touching lives both in Ghana and abroad.

“Delay is not denial. Abrewa Sarah is a testimony that with faith and divine timing, victory will surely come,” Sarah Sarkodie affirmed.
