Quick Angels CEO urges young innovators to seize Scale-Up Fund opportunity

The Chief Executive Officer and Board Chairman of Quick Angels Limited, Mr. Emmanuel Lamptey, has encouraged young entrepreneurs to take full advantage of the newly launched ₵300 million Scale-Up Fund by RNAQ Holdings to grow and sustain their businesses.

The fund, unveiled at the Scale-Up Fund Launch and Pre-Pitching event in Accra, is aimed at supporting promising small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs) with access to capital, mentorship, and structured business systems to enhance their competitiveness both locally and internationally.

Mr. Lamptey noted that while many young innovators show strong creativity and drive, their growth is often hindered by limited access to funding and strategic guidance. He said the initiative would bridge that gap by combining financial investment with expert mentorship.

“This is a chance for young entrepreneurs to turn their dreams into reality — to achieve meaningful goals and make a lasting impact,” he stated. “We’re not just investing money; we’re investing in people with vision.”

He added that the Scale-Up Fund would help transform viable start-ups into sustainable enterprises capable of creating jobs and driving national development.

The ₵300 million fund, managed under RNAQ Holdings, seeks to empower existing entrepreneurs who have already demonstrated initiative but need the right systems and resources to scale effectively. It forms part of a broader effort to strengthen Ghana’s start-up ecosystem and promote innovation-led economic growth.

With support from Quick Angels and other private-sector stakeholders, the initiative is expected to stimulate investment, expand business capacity, and create more employment opportunities for Ghana’s youth.
