The Ministry of the Interior has announced that recruitment into Ghana’s four internal security agencies will officially open from November 15 to December 15, 2025.

The nationwide exercise covers the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and the Ghana Immigration Service, and forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen internal security, enhance public safety, and ensure effective service delivery across the security sector.

In a public notice issued by the Ministry, Ghanaians were encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to serve their country with “integrity, discipline, and professionalism.”

“The Ministry invites disciplined and patriotic Ghanaian citizens who wish to serve the country with integrity and professionalism to submit their applications within the one-month recruitment window.”

Prospective applicants have been advised to read all application guidelines carefully and ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements before applying. According to the Ministry, only shortlisted applicants will be contacted and invited for screening, aptitude tests, and background verification.

The Ministry also issued a strong warning against recruitment scams, stressing that it does not charge any fees at any stage of the recruitment process.

“Applicants are cautioned not to deal with any individuals or groups who claim they can influence the recruitment process for a fee. Anyone who submits false information or forged documents will be disqualified and may face prosecution,” the statement cautioned.

It further emphasized that applicants who engage intermediaries or middlemen will be automatically disqualified from the exercise.

The Ministry reiterated its commitment to conducting a transparent and merit-based recruitment process aimed at building a professional and trustworthy security service to safeguard lives and property across the country.
