The National Service Authority (NSA) has assured national service personnel that delayed payments for the September 2025 service allowance will be released as soon as the Office of the Accountant-General completes final approval.

In a public notice signed by Deputy Director-General for Finance and Administration Donkor Fuseini on Thursday, the Authority said all required documentation has been completed and forwarded to the Accountant-General.

“We appreciate your patience and understanding as the processes are actively ongoing,” the notice said.

The Directorate of Finance and Administration has confirmed that submissions for the September allowance are now with the Office of the Accountant-General “for final approval and release of funds,” Mr. Fuseini added.

The NSA reassured personnel that payments would be effected immediately after the approval process is concluded and pledged to work with stakeholders to ensure timely disbursements going forward.

“We value your service to the nation and encourage all personnel to remain calm as we work closely with the relevant stakeholders to resolve this matter promptly,” the statement read.

The clarification follows rising concern on social media from service personnel about the delayed stipends. The NSA said it has noted the calls and messages from across the country and thanked staff for their patience while the approval process is finalised.
