Community leader and philanthropist, Honourable Vengai Chivaura, has once again demonstrated his commitment to improving livelihoods in rural communities, as his goodwill programmes continue to make a tangible impact in Mhondoro.
On Saturday, November 8, 2025, Hon. Chivaura led the distribution of maize seed in Ward 4, Ngezi RDC, within the Mhondoro Mubaira Constituency, drawing scores of farmers who welcomed the support ahead of the planting season.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Chivaura reaffirmed his dedication to grassroots development, saying, “We represent community development and a genuine cause to help those around us.”
Beneficiaries of the initiative expressed deep appreciation for the gesture, noting that it would help strengthen food security and provide relief for vulnerable households. Community leaders also commended Hon. Chivaura for his consistent engagement and hands-on approach to addressing the community’s needs.
With the rainy season fast approaching, the maize seed distribution has been described as both timely and essential, offering renewed hope for improved harvests and sustainable livelihoods across Mhondoro.
