Bawumia Is the Man of the Moment, I’m Committed to Him – NAPO

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as NAPO and the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) running mate, has declared his unwavering support for the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. NAPO, who served as Minister of Energy before being selected as Bawumia’s running mate, praised his leadership and vision, describing him as “the man of the moment.”

Speaking at the NPP’s manifesto launch in Takoradi on Sunday, NAPO emphasized Bawumia’s significant contributions to Ghana’s economic growth and digital transformation. He highlighted Bawumia’s exceptional leadership and his clear vision for the country’s future.

NAPO expressed his belief in Bawumia’s innovative approach to governance and his dedication to improving the lives of Ghanaians, making him the ideal leader for these times. He affirmed his commitment to serving Bawumia and supporting his vision.

“I’m a stronger believer in Dr Bawumia, I have worked with him more than many of ever know. I believe in his ability and knowledge and surely, he’s the man of the moment. I’m committed to serving him loyally to ensure his vision is translated into a mission,” NAPO stated.

“His vision is for a better prosperous country called Ghana. And I pledged to even work hard to support this vision,” he continued.

NAPO further described Bawumia as a man of vision—humble but firm, affable, loyal, and honest. He lauded Bawumia as a problem solver, a hard worker, and a man of integrity, destined to take Ghana to the next level.

“I know Dr Alhaji Bawumia is not corrupt, his family life has never been accused of corruption and his public life, has never been accused of corruption. He has never been investigated and he will, never be corrupted,” NAPO added.
