The Adentan Circuit Court has granted bail to Evans Eshun, popularly known as Ebo Noah, in the sum of GH¢100,000 with two sureties, one of which must be justified with a landed property or a vehicle.

The case has been adjourned to March 18, 2026, for the next hearing, a development confirmed by his lawyer, Emmanuel Sarfo.
Eshun, a 33-year-old private security guard, was earlier remanded into police custody on January 2, 2026, after the court ordered him to undergo a psychiatric examination at a government health facility ahead of further proceedings. The order was issued when he appeared before Her Honour Angela Attachie, who initially fixed January 15, 2026, for his reappearance.
According to the prosecution, Ebo Noah allegedly published a series of videos on social media platforms, including Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, between August and December 2025, using the handle @Ebonoah. In the videos, he claimed that the world would be destroyed by a flood on December 25, 2025.
Prosecutors told the court that the accused further asserted he was constructing an ark to save people from the predicted disaster, claims which authorities say caused public fear and alarm.
The court is expected to continue hearing the matter at its next sitting on March 18.
